with the way that Hardy has been designated a starter, and listening to Rivera talk about him like he's an everyday DE, i could see something a little unexpected like E. Brown being cut in favor of Chinasa, who hasn't been a disaster in the preseason. I wouldn't dare put money on that, though.

edit: overall i just think rivera is totally on board with hurney's point of view on holding onto promising young players and building a foundation from that. i think the way he is handling the QB position is the strongest evidence of that. "they are our future" and so on. so with that in mind i doubt you'll see guys like fiammetta, goodson, etc going anywhere just yet, at least not without a few more chances to prove themselves.

It's not that Fiammetta hasn't done well, I just don't see a fullback being a big part of this offense with Cam Newton as starter unlike some of you when I asked the question a week or two ago.
