I think McAdoo will still be a DE in the NFL... He's still really young and he's 6'6" or 6'7", so he's got the frame to put weight on without losing much athletically. It wouldn't hurt for us to bring him in, and I'm willing to bet he'd be coming in with more to bring to the table than Brown off the bat.

they traded their 2nd to New England for picks in 2011 (think a 3rd and 4th) and also gave up their 7th.

Oakland traded their 4th to Washington for Jason Campbell.

IIRC, NE got their 2 so they could pick Van Dyke (I think in the 3rd). There seems to be a sentiment in Oakland that they could be getting a supp 3rd next year, if not 2. That probably factored in them using the 3.

I think Al Davis secretly hates Oakland

as a life long raiders fan, i have often thought the exact same thing. what he did to try and destroy marcus allen's career just pissed me off. i've hated davis ever since. he is a horrible owner and is the sole reason the raiders will always be in the bottom half of the league. his control over his coaches and the stupid things he does with contracts will keep his teams down for as long as he has control of the team. the game has passed him by yet he still believes he has a firm grasp of reality and makes stupid decisions.

i hate him third behind osama bin laden and cathy griffin.
