Trade Clausen to the Colts

If you can believe it, they have worse QB's than the Panthers. Peyton Manning had neck surgery in May and hasn't played at all in the preseason and might not be ready for the start of the regular season.

It's clear the Colts have no replacement for Manning for when he retires or otherwise. Clausen is young and still impressionable, why not let him learn under one of the greatest QB's ever? We should at the very least get a second rounder for him, or perhaps grab a DT or CB in the process....

Im not opposed to it. Jimmy would benefit from being behind Peyton or even in the same film room as Peyton.

I mean we're talking about their situation if Manning can't play...

Send Clausen back to Indiana where he had his hey-day....of sorts. Or maybe that means they DEFINITELY don't want him. Who knows.

are you suggesting the Colts would trade one of the best 4-3 pass rushing DEs in the NFL.....for the caliber Qb you can find on waivers?

We are very strong at LB and TE. These are the most likely places where we could swing a trade.
