I can't speak for all of you, but I have been 100% behind this team since 1995. A lot of people here probably don't even know what Ericsson Stadium was. A lot of people here probably don't know what a tough season is because they weren't here in 2001 when we were a few plays away from 9 wins, only to win only 1. Then you have the audacity to sign up for this forum and bitch and complain about fuging preseason? About the fact that we're not dominating in the PRESEASON? GTFO with that.

This is Carolina Panthers football. Either you are a fan who supports this team no matter what, or you are fan like some of those posting around here; bitch and complain about every little fuging nuance of preseason football and complain about "execution" in a preseason game, with a new system, under a new coach, with some new talent on both sides of the ball.

I dont think it is nearly as bad as the huddle has made it out to be. (It rarely is).

I think our lines need more time together, and all the starters in.

nope, but they executed better, and we didnt play the 1st team defense very long.

I think it was obvious that the coaches wanted a good look at our other guys on defense.

As far as offense, the oline needs to play better.

New systems...im not worried at this point.

This is not indicitive of what the Panthers are going to do. While i want to see better 3rd down conversions, i understand that the preseason is about evaluating players and plays. What killed me Friday night was how we were just short of the marker. I think that can be fixed quickly. Id like to see Cam set his feet better before he checks the ball. While this wont happen over night, it can be fixed.

Agaim, anyone who expects a superbowl team this year has radically overshoot their expectations... Since we lost our off season, we're behind big time. It wont be that bad, but we shouldnt expect to be world beaters. Lets look for, and celebrate growth.

The game Friday is not an indication of what the 2011 Panthers will be about. Please don't lose sight of this being the preseason and the fact that our playbook is trimmed significantly.
