At this point would anybody mind if we cut this guy? He was suppose to be this crafty veteran,but looks on par or worse than lafell. I would go as far to say clowney has shows more ability than he has shown. Yes he knows the offense but, so what if your slow and can't get open. what we really need is a posession type player such as Jerricho Cotchery.

Not a blazer but a guy who runs good routes and gets open with sure hands. we really made a mistake by not targeting any recievers with experience being a number one or two guy.

Honestly as of now, I don't know what to think of any of the Panther's receivers other than Smitty. Only time will tell.

cotchery plays for the steelers, and I don't see any good available FA WRs.. and i wouldn't mind if we cut every WR except smitty/armanti

i said a reciever like cotchery, who was out there floating around limbo when we were persuing naanee. I haven't heard a peep from him in practice or in the game. Thin or not there are still better options out there right now than naanee. This no one can get open but steve smith crap is getting old year in and year out for the panthers.

And i'm sure he will but,give me a reason to believe in you. Lafell seems to have just about as much ability as Naane.

Lafell drops too many. Pilares is a rookie. Edwards still a question mark. Naanee knows the system and he catches whats thrown to him when the ball actually gets to him.

I think he'll be in the mix for 2/3 WR. With Gettis healthy, David would be the 2 IMO.

But why cut him, it's not like the lower tier WRs are outperforming him.

I'm not saying cut him,what i am saying is he hasn't done much to separate himself from the pack. yes its still early,but he is suppose to know the system. not seeing him flash much in practice or in the game. He looks on par with lafell. I'd say lafell has flashed more as a matter of fact.

Im going with my first prediction and say he is going to get cut. Everyone needs to understand though that the offense is still new to the players and is very complex. Its not going to be pretty for a while.
