Anybody that watched CFB knew he wasn't that great of a QB, even at the college level. You saw his lack of mechanics on that level as well.

He is a leader and benefited from playing with all that speed and talent at Florida. They had such a great defense with Spikes, Cunningham, Black, Haden, Jenkins, and Dunlap. Also, he could just give it to Percy Harvin and watch him work.

He is a great kid just not the best QB. I would love him as a teammate though because he works hard and is a great leader.

EDIT: I watched both The Golden Calf of Bristol and Cam in college and there is one huge difference in their games. Newton has good mechanics in terms of throwing the ball (needs work on feet, but so does The Golden Calf of Bristol). He has a short compact motion and throws tight spirals. The Golden Calf of Bristol doesn't do that.

Have you seen the footage of him at practice? He literally misses guys by 10 yards at a time, often.

The Golden Calf of Bristol was a project from the moment he was drafted.

Now everyone is claiming fox is the reason The Golden Calf of Bristol isn't ready.

Seems to me, The Golden Calf of Bristol is just not ready.
