McDermotts blitzing is going to alleviate a good deal of the problems we saw on Friday. It was pretty obvious that there was no game plan for this game and that the defense was solely working on zone coverage. It's also clear that Rivera wanted to see what he had with his front four.

This defense isn't made to play a laid back zone and I don't think they will. This pre-season game was about discipline for our D-Line and now Rivera has a whole tape to point out the problems.

Games in the NFL are won and lost in the trenches. I was very, very disappointed when we passed over some premium DT talent with our 1st pick this season considering we had nobody at the position on our roster.

We have a legit starter at CB with Gamble and Munnerlyn isn't bad, but we have nothing really reliable at DT. Edwards going down hurt bad.

Its been a long while since we had a legit starter at DT.

After watching Friday night's game.We definetly need to do something with our DT's and CB's. I know it's preseason,but our defence was riped apart by Bush and Henne.That game was depressing to watch. :confused:
