I Will Say Again " DT "

And Henne looked like a probowler. I know I am comparing apples to oranges but Bush has more talent than Henne.

Henne had no pressure in the middle and had time to step up, again the function of the DTs on passing downs. Our QBs no time for anything beyond short to intermediate routes becasue they had a defenseman in their face.

I don't care who the he is, most starting QBs in the NFL will pick a secondary apart if they have the time to do so. Look what the Steelers did versus that "all world" secondary versus Philly the other night.

Yeah but Henne was making quick throws its not like these were developing plays.

If there is a pass rushing DT available either through trade or FA let me know. There just aren't many to being with. We can bring pressure in other ways and that is gonna put a burden on our CBs.

DT's not named Suh take time to develope in this league. We have 2 young DT's that are going to require some time in the weight room.

After extending Kalil and last night horific interior line play, I am almost 100% certain our front office is going to bring in another DT.

The question comes down to this, what talent is going to be available when teams trim down to the roster limit? Anyone have any idea what teams are overly stacked at DT and are going to release someone servicable enough for us?

Or, is there a player on this team that has earned enough credibility to be worth a trade? I would think with our 10 outstanding LB's, one of them could be trade bait. Again we would need to find a team with an abundance of quality DT's.

If anyone has the time to do that research, I would love to see what you come up with

DT too is still something we need to address. Im just shocked that we still have the same issues today that we've had all offseason. #2 CB, DT, OL. Why in the hell do we still have these problems? We had all offseason to fix them.

Because we had a lot of young players and haven't really identified who are keepers and who are not. Last week no one was saying our DT's were garbage. Now playing against an argurably better OL they looked horrible. Same for CB, last week they were serviceable this week they are horrible. Sometimes you can't tell what you have until the bullets start flying. I'm sure the coaches will identify whether or not it was poor play or just not enough talent then try to address the issue.

If Corvey Irvin is our starting DT, then I would expect 0-16. Corvey Irvin should be cut again, and then his mind should be wiped with a men in black eraser pen, so that he has no memory of anything football related. If he won't go peacefully, then we should hire a Fins offensive lineman to literally push him all the way back to Georgia.
