Irvin was getting tossed around like a rag doll. If we upgrade cb over dt there won't be any need for teams to pass the ball against us. 5 yard inside runs all day. At least with dt help we can get some pressure on passing downs.

I truly think both positions obviously need upgrading but CB will do more for this team.

Gamble is our only proven CB and even he is coming off a down year in need of a bounce back. Regardless of how our well our DTs play our CBs are going to be beaten, we always seem to be chasing WRs. Our LBs can atleast clean up on running plays. Also, I think the fact that our offense didn't have a lot of possession hurt our big DTs in terms of stamina.

It's nice to see Gamble out in these preseason games because we get a chance to see who is gonna step up. I haven't seen a CB step up in a major way.

Before he's gone I agree, but not now with both TD and Beason coming off injuries.

our LBs have as much trouble staying healthy as our RBs and are just as crucial. wait at least until beason is 100% and we can be secure that TD is going to stay healthy. take away either conner or gaither and it leaves us too thin there.

this ^^^. we should find what we need in the next couple rounds of cuts. there won't be much of a separation in the level of talent between what we find after cuts (remember there are two roundsof cuts coming) and what we could get in a trade for conner.

just because conner couldstart on another team doesn't mean he would have the trade value of a starter.

People have to remember that you don't need top players at every position in order to have a good defense. Rivera was very successful in San Diego with a bunch of no-name players because his defenses are more scheme oriented.

I hate to say it but, Marcel Dareus looks like a complete stud. I think he will verge on 10 sacks this season. I hope there is a DT of that quality in next years draft.. because I think we may have a top 5 pick again.

Jerel Worthy looks like a potential Top 10 Pick.

dareus won't get 10 sacks in any year and we didn't make a mistake by not drafting him.

cam will get better and he will be a far more valuable player than dareus will ever be.

we need some experience at DT. drafting dareus wouldn't have provided that. we need some experience at CB as well. we should find both in FA in the next couple weeks.

things will look better when they game plan. they looked good against the giants who are a better team than the dolphins. people are getting too bothered by what went on last night. no game planning and missing a lot of players who would have been playing were it a game that mattered and some players who started but didn't play very long (like 95). the sky isn't falling.
