I could see a game like this being very helpful towards the building process in the long run. Our guys probably got a bit cocky after last week. Good opportunity for Rivera to impart some lessons to a young team at halftime.

You're right, but this is his first time seeing a real defense and the line can't stop it. The more experience he gets in this type of situation the better

Not saying he shouldn't keep playing big minutes in preseason, and hell if he turns it around completely in the next couple games sure, start him, but if we're really naming our starter after this game I don't think it should be Cam at this point...

That being said, I'm not panicking about offense OR defense. It sucks to watch us get beat, but we're playing very vanilla on both sides and missing some starters on D...

only 3 bad throws out of a rookie isn't bad. you got to expect some bad ones out there for a rookie. especially dealing with a bad oline. when we get our starters back, things will be better. however, we need to fix the line. hope a good RG gets cut soon.

K I will blame Cam for something .. He just looked like a little girl in the pocket on the last play of the half , kept turning his head all the way to the side like he was about to get hit instead of trusting in his O-line .. then after he stared the linemen down he just chucked it up off his back foot without even looking downfield.
