Panthers Ratings for Madden 12

Cam has 79 truck rating...I can't wait for one of those BS situations where I scramble and truck someone like Patrick Willis.

i play online franchises, only way to go. from last year, gettis went up in speed, as well as james anderson, this is a nasty video lb'ing core. smitty with an 89 jump is kinda outta whack, but this is gotta be one of the better madden teams overall, when you add olsen and shockey to the mix.

Brandon Hogan the second best cover corner on the team. I thought his coverage might be pretty decent for a 4th round pick. He really might be a steal, i hope he gets on the field this year.

steve smith 89 jumping and 88 catching really guess the guys at madden have never seen him jump over 2 guys to get a ball that should have been intercepted and dwill wow just wow

Cam is clearly the future for your team.

On top of that, his ratings simply translate to being a better video game QB than Clausen....he clearly has the edge as Madden QB.

Are you really trying to compare the ratings in the game to how he is actually going to perform in real life?

Example:

Jahvid Best rookie season: 555 yrd 3.2 ypc, 487 rec yrd , 2 TD= 80 OVR

Jonathan Stewart Career: 3 season(including the garbage one last year that wasnt really his fault). 2739 yrd, 4.7 ypc 22 TD, 289 rec yrd 2 TD=OVR 81

On top of that, sure u can say that Jahvid Best is a better receiver, but Madden didn't even account for that so that can't be a reason he is almost as good.(Best: 72 catch Stewart: 65 Catch.)

So the moral of the story is don't take EA's word for how good players are. They only really watch game tape of big market teams as they are the only ones that are ever close to evaluated(overrated in a lot of situations). Gotta sell those copies of the game!!!

No, what im sayin is they actually recognized he has some game instead of shafting him in one the most important ratings for a DB. Normally they dont give decent ratings for guys drafted low especially CBs, his overall may be a 68 but the fact that he has decent man coverage means they think he has some skill based off his college career. He will be a useful cover guy in the game.Thats all im saying.

Yep, whenever I do a fantasy draft in an online franchise, I just stack speed. It's sad how a receiver like Jonny Knox(97 speed, like 70 ovr) can burn one of the best CB's in the NFL in Charles Woodson(98 ovr, 88 speed i think) on just about any play.

That would be a fuggun great day wouldnt it? Unfortunately, unless the NFL does away with the sole rights crap, no one has deep enough pockets to outbid EA.
