Things us southerners eat that westerners hate

Florence, South Carolina for 9 years and had a 2 year stint in Statesville, North Carolina ... never have I heard about liver mush though .. it seems kinda like the stuff you use in barbecue sandwiches when you look at it , but I get the feeling it tastes more salty like a hotdog from a drive-in that they overly salt before they put it on the grill.

Statesville Knows about liver mush....trust me!

Nothing like a hot dog, it like...like livermush. fried it up, bread (not toasted) I like mustard on mine. Sometimes onion and cheese.

ok so if you have to put onion and mustard on it .. that rules out the bitter taste .. so essentially what you're saying is .. its crumbed up toast basically?(in terms of texture) But if that were the case why in the world would you go through all that effort for it .. so I must be wrong in my assumption.
