Stewart, Goodson, Gamble and Barnridge all questionable for Miami game

Jeremy Shockey helps build for the future. Do you not think that he can teach the offense to other TEs? To Hartsock? While also building confidence for a young QB?

I understand we're not trying to win now, but, Rivera is obviously trying to teach. And being able to teach makes Jeremy Shockey an asset like none other.

So we're going to waste a roster spot at every position for anyone who has ever played for Chud?

What happens when we cut Barny to keep "the Coach" and next year our TE's are Hartsock and Olsen?

Draft someone high because now that's a need and ignore CB, QB, T, DT, S, etc instead of making a small investment in a player with a huge upside?

If Barnidge was that good by his 3rd year he would at least be second on the depth chart. Even in a john fox annoying veteran team he had least finally put good players in by their 3rd year.

Chud knows his TEs and obviously he sees something in Barnridge to not re-sign Rosario.

or maybe Roasario just blows i dunno

i mean he saw enough in barnidge to run out and sign both shockey and trade for olsen lol

and FWIW Barnidge has STARTED 6 games in his career, the TOTAL for all those games together.... 1 reception for 7 yards

obviously the guy just needs a chance!!!!!!!!!11111

He literally had a better chance with his skill set of being the #2 WR than being higher than anyone on the TE depth chart, that's just Fox.

Wait and see I guess. I just hate the thought of getting rid of a younger guy for some old guy who is marginally better on a team that is clearly rebuilding.

Chud doesn't want a stable of TEs to rotate through. He wants 1 do it all TE.....and now all Olsen needs is a little grooming and he should be that guy. Olsen makes Barney irrelvant pending he is healthy.

Gary, 3rd string still had the longest reception out of all 3 ever in their careers

The longest reception ever? That's the measuring stick between Jeff King and Barnidge? Seriously?

Then Tony Dorsett is the greatest running back ever, because he has a 99 yard TD run, and Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, Barry Sanders, or Jim Brown don't?

You've got to be kidding me.

The guy had one catch in three freaking years that people remember. That was two years ago.

yes just because a guy who had 12 receptions in 2009 with a great 55 yard catch and run means he should stay on the team. I know I know you guys are all much smarter then the coaches who teach, talk and see these players first hand in practice and on game days. Rivera would be dumb and maybe they should hire you guys as coaches right?

At 25, how much longer do you have to be called "future talent"?

Isn't "future talent" reserved for rookies or first year players?

he might as well be a first year player with the opportunities fox was handing out to young guys

not directed at you RR, but i find it laughable that the excuse of fox not giving young guys opportunities is fair to some players and not others. barnidge was held behind king because of his blocking and rosario for his supposed athleticism. barnidge has always looked great in practice, ALWAYS, but he was never going to see the field with fox running the show
