Greg Olsen and Cam Newton ultimately make conversations about Barney and Clausen irrelevent. They aren't part of the plan going forward.

Barney and Clausen utlimate ly are not going to be main cogs to this machine they are working on.

ughhh

5 catches in one game is almost half of Barniidge's catches in 3 years.

I'm asking you what are you trying to say because I don't understand you.

Judging him by his preseason games is much more fair than judging him by the regular season games. Why? He gets a little more opportunities and at times they attempt to throw him the ball much more.

If you know by any chance, how many times was the ball thrown his way when he was on the field last year? Or what types of plays were called?

quarterbacks fault he's not getting the ball

buried on the depth chart

not enough opportunities

fox just didn't like him

he's young give him time

he just needs a chance

seriously having preseason 2010 dwayne jarrett flashbacks with these arguements

Barney has worked his ass off ever since he has stepped foot in Charlotte, don't compare a hard working guy to a lazy, alcoholic Dwayne Jarrett.

well see how he does this year. If he doesnt get any playing time due to the fact that we will be using the TE more, I think you won't have any more excuses for the guy.

My last question was a legitimate one, as I honestly don't know.

I don't mind much if Barns gets cut, as we already have a TE in Olsen; it's the "what has the guy shown to warrant him not being cut" that I don't agree with. How can he show anything when he's the 3rd string TE who's barely on the field on a run first team who doesn't use their TEs much? I'm willing to bet that the guy would have done much better as a starter on a team in need of a TE.
