NY subway 2009- pantsless fat lady

NY subway 1996- drunk man kissing a calendar pic of a naked fat lady, while sing the words, "i'm a chicken head"

Atlanta Summer 1999- Went to see a WCW fight and we were downtown eating in a restaurant when a bunch of people in costumes came in, it was really strange. then we left the restaurant and the streets were full of people in costumes. Come to find out Dragoncon was going on which makes it only a tad less strange.

those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.

Some years ago I woke up in the middle of the night at my apartment and the water in the bathtub was running. Full on like you were starting a bath. It was 3 am and no one was around but me. I checked the front door, the only entrance to the place, and it was locked. The only other person who had a key was my roommate. The next morning, I called him and he never came home (stayed at his frat house). Weirdest thing was you have to lock the door with your key from the outside, so no one could have come in. I'm assuming I slept walked.

Slept walked? Is that right? Or would it be sleep walked, or slept walk? Holy crap, none of them sound right?

Where is a grammar nazi when you need one?

Not really a "seen" thing... but a "heard"...

I went to eat at a local Greek Restraunt a few years ago with my girlfriend at the time (now my wife).

We were sitting there quietly waiting on our food, when the table behind us started talking. It was an older couple, sitting with a middle aged man with glasses. Nothing abnormal about them on the surface.

We weren't trying to eavesdrop, but the man talked rather loudly, and began a discussion on exotic foods. He was talking about monkey and giraffe or something from a distant continent. The older couple were sorta just doing the "uh huh. really. that's interesting." placating type of thing.

Then, he says, "Yeah, I think human taste ok."

Me and my wife look at each other and both sort of raise an eyebrow.

Then he says "Yeah, I've eaten a human eye before." At which point we both sorta drop our mouths and sit there quietly.

The older man said "Really? What did you think of that?". And the middle aged guy responds with something we both didn't really understand. Then the older woman said "Hmm."

Then none of us didn't say another word for the next 10 minutes. I'm sitting there thinking a Jeffery Dahmer copy cat is in the place, that or a real looney toon who's parents took him away from the mental hospital for dinner. We were both freaked out...

Eventually they got up and paid their bill at the register, and left without saying another word.

It was definitely one of the strangest things I've ever been exposed to.

I had to bump this thread....

So yesterday I was driving down the road and the car in front of me had a license plate that said "IM4 ANL". As I pulled up along side of the car, it was a couple that were easily in their 80's. I woke up 13 times last night screaming because of that image in my head.

I've been in a lot of old houses as a former real estate broker, but nothing I have ever experienced felt like this.

We were back in college. I was home for the Summer and my buddy and I were going over to Richmond (Indiana) to shop. He said that one of the major record companies had an office in Richmond. (I want to say Capitol. Though it was probably RCA, as their record plant was in Indianapolis.) He had an address and I knew Richmond pretty well so we went in search of the office. We found the office. It was a 3 story average sized brick building. You could read the record companies name in big faded out white lettering across the top. We got out of his car and was standing in the parking lot.

All the windows had been boarded up long ago, but for the front door. It was a beautiful art deco stainless steel double front door with all the glass in tact! It was if it was saying, "Come on in"! We stood there and I could feel the hair on the back of my neck and even my arms were standing up! There were no chains on the handles of the doors, but it was noon and the inside of the building was pitch black! There weren't even any shadows!

I turned to Mark and told him we needed to get out of there. And get out RIGHT NOW! He looked at me and said, "Street, I agree with you!"

Bo and Luke Duke couldn't have gotten out of there any faster! We didn't even speak until we got to the mall!

My old apartment the former Tennant committed suicide and every so often, I'd see a black shadow out of the corner of my eye. Even my Cat would see it. I will even walk through/around in cemeteries. But nothing has ever triggered my "Flight" response like that record company building.

Anyone else here a dead relative's voice?

Every once in a while when I fall sleep, (you know, your 1/2 sleep yet 1/2 awake.) I hear my Mom's voice. She'll will say something like, "Brian get up." or "Brian, come here I need your help." On rare occasions she'll say, "Goodnight Sonny."

I know, it's just a random synapse firing in my brain, but it is so real! BTW, she passed away in 1994.

Venice Beach, CA.

Place is wild/strange/amazing at the same time ha.

Seriously, go there at night on the weekend and you will be entertained.

Might as well update on the warehouse ghost. On Wednesday I was picking an order when I had another experience. I was pulling a box of seat upholstery from a rack. This particular isle of racks ends on one side in a T-junction, the left leading to another isle toward a break/storage room and a left turn into another aisle of racks and the right towards the front display room. Suddenly, I heard loud footsteps from the direction of the intersection and caught a glimpse of a figure running down the isle from the display room towards the break room door. It looked and sounded like someone sprinted on concrete. The peculiar thing is that the sound of them running ended as soon as they disappeared. At first, I just shook it off and attributed it to a coworker, but after around 15 seconds no one had crossed on the other side (which that second aisle I talked about loops back into) so I walked over to check it out. No one was in the break room or the last aisle. To add to it, the passage (underneath a rack) between the isle was currently blocked by a 8-foot stepladder someone had used to pull an item off of the 2nd level, so if it was a coworker they would have had to move the ladder. Also the figure was wearing something blue and no one working that day was wearing blue. I didn't tell my coworkers about this one, it's just a bit too weird.
