I don't get it. Did he practice or just stand there with the ball in his hand? Were the players actually running him over trying to jar the ball loose or just playfully trying to tug it away?

Ron Rivera made Mike Goodson carry a football around today. Goodson had to buy dinner for anyone who stripped it from him. Lesson learned.

Not sure how this will translate to actually playing....I could walk around with my dick in my hand all day, but eventually I will have to drop it.

goodson's problem has nothing to do with physical ability to hold the ball and EVERYTHING to do with mental focus on holding the ball.

by making him carry it around all day he's making goodson focus on the ball at all times, in the hope that it'll make ball protection a larger element in his mind at any given point during a play.
