Charles vs Rice

I'm in a dilemma...drafting 4th and expect to either take one or the other. Help me decide.

Chiefs look horrible so far. With a new weapon on the ravens roster Rice might get some more looks. That's a hard one. TWSS

I'd take Rice first overall this year I think. AP is going to be focused on to heavily, same for CJ and he is going to be rusty from holding out, Charles and the Chiefs don't have much going for them.

Rice gets carries and catches, and McGahee is gone.

Charles and it's not even close.

Thomas Jones will steal some carries like last year.

McGahee is gone so Rice is the goalline back. And Ravens picked up fullback Vonta Leach (paved the way for Arian Foster last year).

Give me Ray Rice but you'll be fine either way.

It's a standard scoring league. I am really flip flopping hear. Some places have Charles ranked as the best back in the draft. I should have selected the 5th spot and just taken who was left.

I also wanted to check out strength of schedule. I have a double header week 10 and that is a make or break wee a lot of time.

Rice could be argued to be the pick in a PPR league. The main thing holding rice back has been his TD numbers, which I don't see changing. Willis took some of the short yardage situations away, and I expect Ricky to do the same. Losing Heap and other receiving threats I can see rice Receptions and receiving yards increasing this season.

But charles is properly still the guy. He's going to be the offense, and they haven't showed any signs of slowing down... Also the AFC west likes to get into shoot outs where he can rack up stats. I think the TD edge will go to Charles, and would be the reason I take him in your format.

Also week ten KC plays the broncos, and Baltimore plays the seahawaks... From what we know right now, there's really no advantage you can give to either runningback because of their week 10 matchups.
