They do pay them. If you and I go to college, we have to pay. If they go, they do it for free. Tuition at Miami is in excess of 25,000 a year. Thats not bad pay for playing football at the college level.

Fwiw, I doubt that more than 25% of the teams intentionally cheat on an institutional level. Of course, the percentage of schools that have individuals that cheat is probably a bit higher.

No, every team in the NFL has guys that took things in college that would have put that college in violation of NCAA rules. Doesn't mean the schools where aware but it is all over college sports.
