I was thinking today, that is what I do at times, that we are going to be shopping JC during the preseason, as soon as Cam turns the corner. We want him to have a good game first.

Why do I think this? We signed Anderson. Anderson is not of starting quality, but could be a good backup. Considering we will run some Wildcat this year, Armanti could be the emergency QB. Pike on the PS, that gives us depth without JC.

If I were a west coast team, the West Coast style Montana played in, I would trade a late draft pick for JC and hope he continues to develop. He is still not in the right system for his ability.

I wouldn't consider Sutton a "surprise" cut considering Vaughan got in the game before Sutton. I'm thinking they'll only keep Double Trouble and Goodson on the roster.
