You see, I've been a sports writer since 2003. Before that, radio. I was born into a radio fam, so I've had a rare look into the "agendas" of many in the media.

Your regulars: Gantt, Person, Reed...the beat guys...are genuinely good. You may not like their work, but they work hard.

For every one of them, you have dozens of hacks who literally (and I have seen this)...scan tweets from other sources, and put together their word secondhand.

It's a dying biz, sports journalism. Social is where it's evolving to, and honestly--love him/hate him--Florio is the best example of taking a simple blog, working his tail off, and building an enterprise.

It can happen, if you attack the stories with an honest perspective. You have to add value along the way--something the aforementioned either can't/won't.

As you will see on the site in the coming weeks, the P.O.D. will be considerable.

You guys rock, and thank you for the support.

I'm already a fan Mister 212, keep up the great work.

My #1 concern, re: Clausen in live action:

Too "synthetic"--not instinctive enough to make big plays in key spots. Arm not strong enough to capitalize on our speed at WR/TE.

and for Newton:

Footwook, footwork, footwork. Shula/Chud MUST get him to step into his throws with authority. In his prime, I never say anyone do this any better than Kurt Warner. Go back and look at some of his games in 1999, 2001, 2008. Cam needs to zone in on this, and make it better.

I like what Jimmy showed tonight, but remember, he had the luxury of the entire #1 crew with him, including a rejuvinated 89.

Did Cam's attitude pick up at all or was he pretty subdued throughout practice?

Was it that bad? Hangover from the game or just this practice get him that way?

he looked down. had to stay longer and work on his footwork when everyone else had finished up. threw two picks tonite and missed lots of passes.

Errr... I might be completely off on this, but I sure as hell hope that this 212 guy is NOT in fact NJP taking us for another ride...

That is all

No, I am not the great NJP. He follows me at twitter.com/johnellis212, and I also follow him. Good guy, and always seems to have a good pulse on things before they unfold.

I didn't really think he was NJP... Until this... Now I'm really suspicious.

I hope this guy is legit, but my gut says...

Careful with this one, I must be...

Just sayin...

212, I mean no harm to you if u are not NJP... But it seems a little suspect to me. You have come out of nowhere all of the sudden when that guy has suddenly gone ghost...

Edit: if others can confirm that this is 100% no way in hell NJP I'd appreciate it.

Don't want to feel like an idiot for a second time.

    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
