horrible news if that is the case :(

but i read this morning that his brother said that he'll be playing soon

It's not horrible news. We all know how one acquires HIV, so if he has it he deserves it and I hope he dies a painful death. I'll save my sympathy for innocent people who die because of things outside their control (like the 50,000 kids in Somalia dead before 5).

With that said I highly doubt he has HIV. He's a bit young and even if he had it he'd probably feel perfectly fine wouldn't he? Takes years for it to start affecting one's health. Unless he's contracted it as a teen...

Pretty sure he had Mono back in March and is having some bad lingering affects from it. Test are being run to see why he is so run down and everything is coming back negative. Some say post chronic fatigue syndrome, plus your spleen can swell, etc. Lots of unknown weird things can happen with Mono and I am fairly certain that is the case here. They are not giving details because they honestly haven't figured out what is causing the symptoms he is having.

your hate is astonishing

i've seen you make several comments on several different topics here and i just feel sorry for you. hoping for someone to die a painful death is pretty much the lowest of lows and really shows your true character

you toss around judgements like your personal beliefs set the bar for what everyone else should strive for

Eh, I got another theory.

My personal opinion is that Maclin has contracted HIV or something serious--HIV would certainly seem to fit the mold--and right now they're talking to doctors and gathering information on if Maclin will be able to play in the NFL this season or again. If you read between the lines from the Eagles organization and Maclin's brother Andre, they're saying things like they expect him back this year. They're being positive. They're being optimistic that even with his condition he's going to be allowed to play. Still working out the details because there has never been an NFL player before with HIV

You've added 2 + 2 and made 5. Because people are being positive it must be HIV? Maybe its just something he can recover from, like say...mono? For those questioning the time its taken him to recover, I've known people that have been bed ridden for 6 months because of mono, lacking the energy to do anything.
