What I want to know is how many of those Interceptions of Jake's where intended for Smith? I can't fault the guy for trying to get it to his best receiver, that's just good sense, what I can fault a guy is throwing it when he shouldn't. And when someone says that a guy is double covered it doesn't mean that all he has is two guys assigned to him (which he should) I think of it as when those players both are in good position to make a play on the ball.

A bad throw and threading the needle look exactly alike until the last minute. One player executes and the other doesn't. Jake had a few wtf throws this year but most of the time it looked to me like a poorly thrown ball. If it was thrown as intended it would have been a completion. I figure that many of those were the result of his post surgery recovery and not poor judgment. On the other hand, games like Arizona and Oakland do nothing to convince anyone he still has it.

What I don't remember were many throws where Smith had a play on the ball and the defender took it away. Smitty fights for the ball and isn't picked off very easily. If there were anyone on the team I would feel like if I threw it up ,he would make a play on the ball, it would be Smitty.

All I can say is that about 15% of Jake's ATTEMPTS were completed to the Cardinals in the last game...

Not sure what the numbers would be, if we took into account that Steve Smith didnt play the first two games, but not that I care..

I would be ok with him throwing it 99.9% to Steve Smith, if it worked.....
