Well I guess NFL.com has him listed wrong. What you probably mean to say is Jordan Gross was an Unrestrcited Free agent who never hit the market

WOW!! You need to tell NFL.com that they reported his status as an UFA incorrectly.

I have lost a few brain cells with your thread

Wow!!!

Their list, just like all other lists that were made before free agency actually started went on the assumption that those players would become free agents.

I have lost a few brain cells with your thread

I guess that takes you down to 0.

Dude, I, nor anyone else in this thread has said or implied anything remotely close to what I highlighted in red.

I'm just getting tired of this whole fa bs. Every other thread is a "the sky is falling we need a,b, and c". The only reason I said any of that was, because it seemed like you were just being the typical on this board. And you was looking for it. If not, my bad. But if it sounds like a duck, looks like a duck, and quacks. Its a duck to me.

To clarify, I like the FA period after the draft, cuz there are players available that have been released, because the team drafted a replacement. So you are getting a player that was released for a good reason other than because he was a problem player. Not saying all the players available now are a problem, Just my opinion...

Dude, How long have you been a panther fan? because they never make big splashes early if ever in Free agency. And when they have they typically have turned out to be busts

Lies... Kemo did his job (was signed first day of FA) so was lucas (he did great 1st year)... so did Wahle in his 1st year as a panther... so I dunno whatcha talkin bout. Might missed few...

From Gantt: Wallflowers the life of the playoff party

We're now almost through the first six days of free agency.

At the moment, there are just six teams left who haven't either signed, agreed to a deal with or traded for a player from another roster.

My cauliflower-ear-in-vain tells me one's Carolina. Throw in Atlanta, Green Bay, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and San Diego.

Not a bad neighborhood. Combined 2008 record of the Lonely Hearts Club? How about 61-35 (.635), and that's dragged down by the Packers 6-10. Not too shabby.

Atlanta's settled back into their preferred mode, after last year's needed influx of talent. Green Bay gave its coaches the weekend off, not willing to participate in the economic stimulus. The last three on the list are perhaps the most stable and successful in the league over the last half-decade.

That's not to say that those teams don't need help, or wouldn't pursue some if they had more money available. Carolina would do a few things, if they could.

But look at how those six have spent their money lately, contrast it with the Drunken Sailors of the Potomac, and tell me which is the better plan.
