Moore will not play w/starters at all vs Panthers

Unfortunatley no. I live here in Charlotte (hence me being a regular on here eventhough I am a dolfan) I was just down in South Florida (hometown) last week for vacation. Ill go to some Panther games this year, I always hit up this sites tailgate and donate and hang out....maybe Ill see you guys there this year?

By game 1 hopefully but 3-4 at the latest, Henne is out and the offense begins to flourish.

Yeah, we will be a 7-9, 8-8 team again this year. Honestly, we could win 10-11 depending on QB play. Remember miami was 6-2 on the road last year with wins at greenbay, new york jets, minnesota. But we went 1-7 at home. If we win 2 or 3 of those home games we are a different team.

Is there something about Matt Moore that you have heard about that makes Coaches seem to hate him? I mean if he competes in TC and it's even close I would think even if Sporano has to entertain the idea? Haven't paid much attention to dolphins this season since we have our own little QB battle going on. How has Moore performed in camp?

Moore has been making up ground on Henne ever since he started. He was about a week behind remember.

He clearly outplayed him in the opener and has tools that Henne doesn't.

Sparano said it's not a competition, right now, but Moore is going to play it into a competition.

Actually, I just got back from my lunch break, I was reading in-practice tweets for the dolphins, Moore has been taking snaps with the 1st team guys, and supposedly is looking sharp as hell. Henne threw a pic-6 to Benny Sapp......so things are slowly looking like Moore getting some moore (pun) opportunities than originally thought. This is a direct quote from one of the south Florida beat writers

"don't tell matt moore he isnt the starter, hes playing today like he is gunning agressivley to be the starting qb and to un-seat henne"

Don't let my user name full you, its 100% for the cleverness of the name, I am not married to Henne....if Matt Moore gives us more wins, I am all for it. I am all for Barney Fife being the QB if we can have some solid play and consistency.

The players have to notice the differences in the 2 qbs. Moore has a presence about him that says "Ive been here before, Im not worried, let me just hit a open guy and let him run"

Henne has this "3 or 4 step drop? is that guy blitzing?! oh sh*t whats the hot route again!?" mentality, like he has trouble processing the info sometimes. Henne has all the intangibles, rocket arm, big frame, experience.....but some guys have it. Some guys dont. We will see once and for all if he has it, this year. If Matt Moore doesnt ruin it for him.

I think you mean he has all the tangibles.

Dude is a robot. Always was, always will be. Just watching them in the pocket you could see Moore looked more like a football player.

Ok, in Fox's defense to see Matt Moore in TC he wasn't impressive at all. Owned is too strong a word imo. That said I hope MM destroys Henne and makes it big in Miami.

Last year, it was unanimous he was clearly the best QB in camp.

In Oregon, won the job in a few weeks from a home grown favorite.

@ UCLA, beat out Drew Olsen for the job in a few spring practices.

In high school, he did lose the job to eventual NFL QB Kyle Boller, that bum.

I don't think Moore ever had a particularly good Training Camp here. Certainly nothing to indicate how well he played in 2007 and again in 2009 (2008 he was on IR). The fact that he's tearing it up in Florida has to be encouraging to anyone who follows his career.

I kind of expect him to do pretty well Friday, and I think he may end up getting starts this year if Henne struggles at all.
