So what new pieces did you bring in because you are now "financially sound"

Oh yeah.

The ones who led you to a 2-14 record last year.

And blaming Fox will get you nowhere.

The man is a good coach.

The fact that he was immediately hired speaks to that.

Tell the truth man.

Just tell the truth.

TD (beast of a probowl player) is back next to Jon Beason, and James Anderson who was a bright spot on our team last year. turned out to be somewhat of a playmaker, hopefully that continues..

3 DT's are showing huge promise in the middle.. Irving & Fua helped clog the middle to shut down the Giants run game (says something more than nothing).

we just acquired Greg Olsen and Jeremy Shockey.. Olsen will end up being our #1 receiving threat, unless Smitty puts up 1400 yards this year. Shockey is an incredible option to have next to Olsen.. Barnidge has shown flashes should either go down. We didn't have Barnidge last year since the TE position was deleted out of the depth chart over the last decade..

Young receivers showing great promise..

that 2-14 brought back DWill, Stewart, and Goodson out of the backfield.. do you think they will hurt us or help us? prime example of the talent we have on both sides of the ball and how foolish it would be for you to assume we merely brought back a 2-14 team..

Eric Norwood is showing huge promise in both the pass rush and rush stopping.. which is a huge plus considering he may still be a backup to Greg Hardy who may end up a beast if he stays healthy..

we got rid of our idiot playcaller named Davidson.. we upgraded our coaching staff 10 fold..

we drafted what could be a dynamic signal caller in Newton if he continues to grow at the rate it appears over the last 2 weeks..

plenty of reasons to assume the future looks bright..

These contracts, given by the self described "best cap GM in the NFL," are killing you!

Yay another meatball who knows nobody inside the nfl that can barely read assumed reports has spoken about his ignorance of market value!!! Yes, get it out of the way and we are glad it's over with. When you enter negotiations with professional athlete, then you can tell us how much they are worth. You on the other hand, are worth about $8k a year.

People who bring up the "omg same team as last year" argument need to understand this. The attitude on defense is worlds apart-you can even see it watching our third stringers. There are your "new pieces".

those people will never understand this concept. they have never played sports in their lives to know this

The third DT who will be missing just one PS game?

And Edwards (who we got for less than half of CJ) has participated fully in practice.

So because a guy misses one PS game this makes him just as valuable as CJ? I must need to go to school in Georgia to be able to figure this poo out. Quit being an over zealous troll and face the facts that this year the NFC South is scared shitless after watching our one preseason game.
