Hey dtan, im just curious if you really live that far in your own head that you have conjured enough ego to boast that you are the best poster on this board? I could summon the treasure trove of vocabulary i have amassed over the years to lambaste you or i could simply and succinctly sate that you are a complete ass.

For such an "intelligent" guy, you sure made a lot of errors in the above post.

Some tips...

1. Capitialize the pronoun "I."

2. Use apostrophes.

3. Word usage. While your word choices "conjured, summon, treasure trove, etc" technically fit the situations you have placed them in, the way in which you have used them gives off the distinct aura of a man using big words for the sake of using big words, ie a man trying desperately to sound smarter than he is. (The fact that you are bragging about your supposedly large vocabulary just makes the situation even more ironic.)

4. Redundancy. While "succinct" and "simple" have slightly different definitions, something that is "succinct" is understood to simple, just as something that is "simple" is usually understood" to be succinct. Using both just affirms the readers' suspicion that they are dealing with an incompetent poster.

5. "Sate?" To fulfill or to satisfy? You may want to download a browser with spell check built in, as you do not seem to have the mental capacity to make the necessary corrections to your work on your own.

1. Your first sentence made no sense in context to my original statement. Another poster claimed that we were screwed because Edwards and Peters have injuries, and I replied that both were minor. At no point did I suggest anything close to what you suggested I did.

2. No one is "scared pooless" of the panthers, preseason means nothing. The 08' Lions went 4-0 in preseason. They then finished the season at 0-16. Your team has added a raw rookie to a team that finished 2-14. Teams are not "scared pooless," they are looking forward to playing you bums.

When did I ever say that we're a "team on the rise". My prediction for this season is 5-11.

Also optimistic homerism is something that occurs in every fanbase in the preseason and it didn't merit creating a new word back in 2006 and it sure as poo doesn't merit still using it five years later.
