Would be a good backup LT for us. He protected Peyton Manning's blind side for 3 years. Definately would be better than Garry Williams.

Would love to have the guy for depth but he's most likely going to a place where he can either A) start or B) have a shot at a championship. Not much of either doing in Carolina.

Being a Colts fan, I'm not sorry to see him go. When he wasn't on IR, he was getting beat by just about everyone. Yes, he made some lucky plays and actually stopped a few people, but if you look at last year, a good deal of Peyton's problems were in that he had to hurry his passes.

Granted it didn't help that DC (Dallas Clark) went on IR, Gonzales was on IR (again!) and no Harrison. It takes longer to set up a younger receiver than a Marvin Harrison or Dallas Clark. But Ugoh always lookked a little lost to me.

Hopefully their upgrades on the Offensive Line will cure some of that. As well as more time with the "new" WR's. (Of course, it doesn't help that Peyton is still rehabbing his neck!)
