My Observations...

I have lived in florida for the past 11 years, so it has been a longtime since i have been to a Panthers tailgate.

Sounds to me like this thread is now about which tailgate is better. The smart thing to do would be to merge the tailgates. More people would donate to Toys for Tots, and more old dudes would have more hot girls around so they can try to get laid before the game starts.

No way. I hate even walking through the other to get to ours.

I'm determined to make it to a game this year, but when I was looking into buying tickets here everyone is trying to sell their season tickets to me... Which I'm not ready to do as of right now due to personal/family obligations...

Anyway, I'm planning on going this year.

I always planned that for whenever I finally made it to my next game, I would drop by the Huddle tailgate... But, I never knew fellow huddlers thought so badly of it either, lol.

Things went rather well considering this was a preseason game. But there is much needed improvement in many areas, which I will address here.

Attendance:

Again, this was a preseason game with the potential of rain, but I did expect to see more Huddlers at this tailgate. I am very disappointed in many of you for not showing up.

Grade: C

Alcohol:

Although there seemed to be plenty of alcohol to go around for everyone (remember, it's BYOB), only one person brought a home-made mixture. It was a delectable apple and cinnamon moonshine. But again, no one seemed to be without.

Grade: B+

Food:

There was plenty of free hotdogs, hamburgers and brats with all the fixings to go around. Also, there was an abundence of chips, snacks and cookies for everyone to enjoy. And more than enough free sodas and water to wash it all down. Free to all who contributed to the Toys-For Tots collection. Although the food was good it did not compare to Rancini's Bar-B-Q. Which is why I could not give it a grade of A

Grade: B

Hooters:

Boo saved the tailgate from being a complete disaster in this category. She arrived and flashed the Huddle tailgaters her perfect set of fun bags. Although the quality was there, the quantity was lacking. We need more female Huddlers stepping up to show us what the God Lord gave ya.

Grade: B-

Homeless:

I was very disappointed regarding this category. Only one homeless person hit us up for free food. And he didn't even have an empty bag to put the food in. You homeless need to step up. Show up with your shopping cart, collect the empty beer cans, go through the trash, ect. We will be more likely to give you food if you do that.

Grade: D-

Overall Tailgate Grade: C+

B-?!?!!

That'll be the last time Boo livens up a tailgate with bewbs.

Good to see you guys.....can't wait to get back into the regular season!

For the record everyone....Skew didn't even go into the game. :D

MrTouchdown....

The tailgate honestly varies from week to week.

Last year we had a good amount of times where there were girls and guys our age...and sometimes it was more families than younger people....

that isn't really the aspect Im looking for. I always stop by to say hey to people in person who I speak to on here and haven't seen in a while. Always good to get together and talk to more than 1 person at a time who understands you when you mention teh huddlez.

usually someone has brought some sort of liquor, mead, everclear, etc.

usually someone has cooked something absolutely delicious that I must try.

and usually I am stopping by to drop a couple dollars in the Toys for Tots donation bucket.

Overall, the TG is always a good time and I thought Saturday was impressive based on the weather and the fact it was a preseason game.

We are almost directly across from you at French Quarter but more towards the corner of 3rd and poplar. Come stop by next time.
