After game 1, what are you concerned about?

2. Cam Decision Making

I lol'd.

On-topic, I'll say...

1. #2 WR spot, we can't have too many of those endzone drops in the regular season.

2. DE pressure, our DT's (which many viewed as our weak link of the front 7) played the most solid.

3. fuging QB protection.

#1 concern is still the cornerbacks. Had Eli Manning not sucked Hakeem Nicks would have had a huge game. Saw a lot of receivers getting good separation.

I didn't like us on 3rd down.

Impossible to evaluate on one preseason game when half our starters didn't play.

Good eve, #PanthersMafia

My first of two flings re: Saturday's win over NY. This article is just a "quick hitter" piece that covers my observations. A more comprehensive follow-up to come tonight, early Monday AM.

Thanks for the support of so many here.

1) - WR's - I've watched the game twice, and in man coverage our WR's just don't get any kind of good seperation. This makes it hard on our QB's, and makes their passes, read, play that much harder. By far the biggest concern, and one I think will last through most of the season.

2) O-Line play... Hopefully it was just 1 game, and them learning their assignments, but they wiffed a lot in that game abd put our QB's in no win situations... Not just letting why guy go, but multiple at times.

3) Game shape of our star players - A lot of our key core players have been sitting out a lot, and the team is being very pre cautious. With so little practice team, and a system I have concerns over how ready they will be game 1.

Kind of hard to be worried about anything after the first pre-season game. If this were mid-season, I'd be worried.

By the way, how can Jimmy dump off too quickly AND hold onto the ball too long. Aren't those exclusive of each other?

Bc if Jimmy doesn't dump it off he often looks downfield and doesn't pull the trigger when he should.....that result in a missed opportunity and he throws away or then dumps it off.

But I thought he did better Sat.....he is showing improvement in comparison to last year.
