Mike Goodson's fumbling problem

I see where you're coming from and I would tend to agree, but I think he is just as likely to fumble in any situation. I don't think it has much to do with how many people he encounters as it does how he holds the ball and where he is hit from.

I don't necessarily disagree, I just think fumbling is less of an issue with pass receivers anyway.

But I do agree its a significant problem for Goodson, and hopefully one that can be fixed. If it is fixed, he has the potential to be a big weapon for us. His explosiveness rivals some of the best runners in the league.

He just isn't that good. Return man, 3rd down back at best, I'm afraid. And even then theres always the worry of him putting it on the turf. When you have guys like Williams and Stewart, I just don't see much reason to give Goodson touches(unless depleted by injuries like last year)

AP is also a freak of nature, whos liable to break 20 tackles and take it to the house every time he touches the ball. When thats the case, ill live with the odd fumble. Goodson can't do that.

Goodson is shifty, has speed, an incredible option out of the backfield, put up 2 100 yard games last year when his name was called, and you don't think he is liable to break a few tackles and run it to the house?
