McClain IMHO opinion was getting thrown all over...Stanford looked better, but again just my opinion. Burney looked impressive in limited action..

Bottom line is that Gamble and Munnerlyn better get healthy quick..If McClain and Stanford have to actually play extensively this season, it wont be pretty..We need a CB, almost as much as we need a WR. Expect one too be signed eventually...

They looked 'OK' many of the passes that looked well defensed were drops and overthrows both starters got beat horrendously earlier in the game, and had this have been against the Saints (or worse Greenbay) we would have gotten torn up.

But for back-ups, they did ok.

i really like rj stanford he was very aggressive and he was in on about every tackle and that something you don't see from a corner but he still needs to improve on his coverage but overall he played a good game

I think Kendrick Burney is going to be a steal for us. He was all over the place.

I was most impressed by Burney as well. Had a hell of time not getting McClain and Stanford mixed up for some reason
