Cams passing observations

A heck of a pass to Olsen. Unless it was a fluke he stuck it down and low to the inside where only he could get it.

I also saw a couple of pretty bad passes. Still wondering about accuracy issues.

On his first play the head ref cam up and shook his hand. Thought he wanted Cam's autograph.

He hasn't beat Clausen yet i think but did pretty well.

Cam didn't throw a pick 6 either.

I'm impressed with how poised he is. Rookies aren't suppose to be that poised.

yep, in my book, both him and the Titans QB Locker played with poise that you usually dont see. Locker had a center/exchange problem, got it back and threw a TD and Cam Newton had some good throws and even though some were dropped, they were still good throws.

Cam looked like he was making a conscious effort to hear that clock in his head and get the ball out quick, which is great. Jimmy would get to that 2-3 second mark, and then break the hell out.

As Jangler says, and I saw it too, lots of throws off the back foot, not much stepping into the throw, but they still come out with steam on a line to the WR.

That throw to Olsen could have been an easy touchdown. Greg made a nice adjustment to come up with it, but not a terrible throw.

Cam held his own with limited help from the backup line and the WRs. Given it was his first live full speed game, just some footwork issues that he can work on the next 3 weeks. Clausen also looked much improved, still holds the ball to long. If newton continues to progress Clausen won't start long.
