BTW, when DeAngelo was asked about the name after the Lions game, he said he prefers "Smash & Smash". So how about Smash & Smash-Some-More?

We find putting up 300 yards rushing on one of the best defenses in the NFL gets us a good bit of respect. Not that we want or need such.

Sudden success? since 1997 we have only had 3 losing seasons... Can you say the same about your team?

funny thing is since 1996 the Oilers have had all these winning seasons, they have been to the playoffs 5 times and have 2 conference championship games and one superbowl loss to show for it and have a 5-5 record in the playoffs.

In that same time period the Panthers have 3 conference championship games and 1 superbowl loss and a 6-3 playoff record in 3 playoff appearances.

pssst the oilers haven't won a playoff game since 2002 Carolina is 5-2 in the playoffs in that period.

You guys have been getting plenty of respect. As for putting up 300 yards in a game, wasn't that against the Chiefs? We put up 205 and shut them out 34-0.

Frankly though, I think they are the two best tandems in the league...and it's silly to argue about them.

I could care less about the nicknames, because I find them kind of dumb anyway. I'll call them the same thing I always have, "DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart".
