Steve Reed reported that the Panthers inquired about Evans last night. Exactly like I said Hurney was on the phone with Buffalo last night. Another great guess by me again I guess.

I was told exactly that Hurney doesnt want this deal done and I guess that is why people are reporting the Panthers have no serious interest, but Richardson wants the team to get Evans.

I think Lee Evans is a great player but how many more years can he keep it up. I think the asking price for Evans would be too high. If we had an established great QB and could possibly make a run I would say trade for him. But honestly we're not going to make a run this year.

I would like Evans as a Panther, but I wouldn't want to give up anything more than a 5th or 6th for him. They do need another WR.
