not a move the panthers are likely to make. we only went after olsen since he's younger and a guy we coveted back when he was drafted and TE was a position we needed more talent at. we aren't going to go after a 30 y/o WR who doesn't know the playbook and already have plenty of younger options on the team.

Oh yeah, I forgot, Legedu Naane. No ones ever heard of the guy, but now that hes a panther he's Larry Fitz 2.0 . Really hope he works out, but I'd feel much better with a proven veteran out there. Not a career bench warmer.

Well we did go after S.Moss and Floyd and I have a hard time seeing Naanee being in that mold. With Gettis on IR it is not out of the Q that we go after af vet.

Rivera has being pretty clear about the fact that no one has stepped up to be #2 so why not.

Neither does Lee Evans as he is expected to be traded within the next 48 hours and Rivera said the Panthers have no immediate plans to go after another wide out.

yeah, but if he could be had for a 5th or 6th, you wouldn't even consider that?

a legitimate upgrade to the WR position for a ? who might not translate into anything anytime soon. I say pull the trigger if thats the case.
