I understand the downer of losing a guy like gettis but some of the over reactions really make me wonder how some of you handle adversity in real life situations. Do you just throw up your hands and give up? Is that what the team is going to do?

Gettis can still learn and contribute next year.

It hurts even more down the line than this year. He looked liek he could turn into something down the road. Developing as an NFL WR takes time, and Gettis just lost a year of experience.

I'm not just speaking about us. Of course we lost more talent last year. I've heard a lot more injuries over the league than normal this year already.

Sucks I had high hopes for him this year. Lafell needs to step up now. Anyone think we are the team Lee Evans will be traded to. Maybe Hurney pulled the trigger knowing the Gettis situation.
