[ATTACH]34882[/ATTACH]:sad:JACKSONVILLE, NC (WBTV, AP) - A US Navy SEAL from North Carolina who died in Afghanistan had one final wish. If he was killed, he would like everyone who is able to donate to the Wounded Warrior Project.

36-year-old Chris Campbell was one of the 30 American troops killed in a helicopter crash.

Please forgive for putting this in the Panther Thread, but there is a connection. Opening day this year is 9/11. Chris gave his life for his country. Please try to remember Chris on that day, as he was one of Americas best and another reason (beside our beloved Panthers) to be proud of the Carolinas!

RIP, I've donated to the project several times and will definitely do it several more. I may not agree with the troops being sent in the first place. I certainly don't agree with them still being there but they're America's finest none the less and I'll support them as long as they're there....

He, like all of our armed forces are the reason we are able to bicker about football on a message board all day while we work our safe careers. Every member of the armed forces deserves more thanks and praise then we could ever give....
