Of course i laugh at his comment and the arguement escalades to him sayin welker a true number 1 and smitty just a slot wr. I laugh harder this time telling him smith rarely ever in the slot, welkers game is only the slot. Bandwagon fans are hilarious.

i cant stand ignorant football fans. Welker is what he is today because of BRADY. Smith is what is he today because of his own talent, drive and god given abilities. Dont get me wrong, im not saying welker is a bum, hes a good player but in reality he is a decent player made good by the beast throwing him the ball.

imagine smitty got drafted to the patriots instead of us? without a doubt in my mind he would be 2x as far along as he is now.

Also remember this: 99 yards and 1 TD that Welker has right now was at the end of a game against Miami. Miami had almost no chance of winning, and blitzed with the Patriots on their own 1 yard line.

Pats took advantage, and Miami gave up the big play while trying to get the ball back. The ball hardly went 20 yards, and it is a 99 yard TD.

IMO, Smitty is the better WR. He has been productive as the ONLY offensive weapon on a team. Give Welker some of the coverage that Smitty has seen, and there is no way he would be more productive.

I think when people look back and want to compare it won't be if Smitty had Brady. It's gonna be what if Welker had Cam Newton! Screw Brady and his bunch, we have Smitty and Cam...oh and after the season we will have their records too!
