8/10 Practice Thread

Just so you guys know, it's better to try these "let me see if I can get it in there" type of throws in Practice than in an actual game. This is one of the reasons why Clausen checking down a lot in practice was a bad thing. But it seems he's tried to turn it around and found the offense a little more comfortable. Same thing goes for Cam. now get off your high horses and let people post updates.

For those who have been to camp ... Has our screens improved?

I know we have ran like 3 successful screens in franchise history.

Having an effective screen pass with our young QBs who are sure to be blitzed like hell would be a good thing.

I would say yes.

I'm not really sure why people are surprised that Cam has had a night with accuracy issues. He came from an unconventional spread option offense. He doesn't have the experience making all the throws that some other guys do coming out of college. I have no doubt that he will get it together but people going apeshit because he's experiencing his first growing pains is just stupid. You don't come from the type of offense he did and make a seamless transition to a pro style offense. Hell, pro style rookies don't even do it....
