Double Trouble, Goodson, Steve Smith,Gettis,Naanee,Edwards, Greg Olsen, Jeremy Shockey, Otah, Kalil, Gross, won't include the dual threat Qb since he's a rookie. Thats the best running game at least top 3, top 5 TE group with Olsen alone and a top 10 O-line. Find me 15 teams with more playmakers than this. I'll wait...

Their defense was 6th last year with Dan Henning as coordinator so save that excuse.

Wasn't looking at their roster, but I knew they had some big, talented guys at DT. That's why I put "maybe," cause wasn't sure how much had changed since the last time I looked at their roster...

I know about Wake, they released Crowder, and I am extremely jealous of their DBs. Will Allen is probably as good as Gamble when healthy (or was) and is most likely their 3rd best corner.

That being said, despite Godfrey's short comings, I give us the edge at safety. Hard to weigh our DL/LBs vs theirs b/c of different scheme. When our guys are healthy, I think we have the better defense in all honestly and as little homerism as possible.

Fox does not adjust his plan to match the talent he has, and he does not adjust his plan to attack the weaknesses of the team he is facing. Fox knows how to hammer a nail. No matter what he pulls out of his tool box, he treats it as a hammer. No matter what the job is, he drives a nail into it.

we've got the best running back trio in the league.

top 5 group of linebackers and offensive line.

top half of the league defensive backfield.

the only weakness we have is on the defensive line which is more experience and has been shored up since last season and we were young at WR but they now have a year under their belts and we added LN and two of the most experienced pass chatching tight ends in the league.

we are only inexperienced at QB but by adding the potential of CAM and the experience of DA in the specific system we are running, we are light years ahead of where we were last season.

there is no way we're the worst in the league. i'd say we're at best top half of the league and at worst 3rd quarter. i know i could quickly name a minimum of 8 teams worse than us taking us out of the bottom quarter.

browns, bengals, seahawks 49ers, Bills, jags, redskins, dolphins, titans, broncos....

there's 10 that we're better than and i'd say we're as good or better than the lions, cardinals, texans, raiders, vikings, rams..... etc......

You can't really include Gettis, Naanee, Edwards, Shockey, and Goodson as talent because Goodson will rarely see the field, if at all, Gettis is an unproven sophomore with roughly 30 catches to his name, Naanee is even less impressive, Clausen has more TD passes than Edwards has total plays made in a game and Shockey is past his prime and always hurt.

We may think it's talent, but league wide, these guys are nobodies until they prove otherwise.

Lions, Cards, Texans and Rams have done some serious upgrading, and they will all have better QB play than us this year...at least from their starter. If he goes down, then they suck.

Well if you were capable of critical thought and were around football discussions a lot last year, people blamed our poor defensive rank on how bad the offense was.

I was just establishing the fact that Henning was their OC so the bad offense argument is invalid when comparing the two defenses because they had just as bad an offense.
