ESPN Talking Points

That one guy said Cam would do okay because he had Olsen, Williams, Smith and other weapons. Skip's retort was that the Panthers have the worst roster in the league. Haha, were you not listening? I don't understand his argument that Dalton has a better roster to work with. AJ Green and...um...Cedric Benson?

Yeah, Hugh Douglas. It seems like the guests pay more attention to all the NFL than all the "personalities" on ESPN.

Cam Newton, DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Steve Smith, Greg Olsen, Jeremy Shockey, Jordan Gross, Jeff Otah, Jon Beason, Thomas Davis, Charles Johnson, James Anderson, Chris Gamble.... um... am I missing something Skip?

Every guy on that list is a potential pro bowler. And we have the weakest roster in the NFL?

Yeah, Skip Brainless is who I'm listening to for my NFL info.

Seriously the stupidest commentator in years. Him and Cowherd have quite the competition going for most uninformed tv personality.

I listen to Cowherd almost every morning and he doesn't hate on Carolina as much as other commentators. He gives it like it is, a rookie coach, a rookie quarterback, and a team who had a ton of injuries in the NFC South, which could be the toughest division in football.

..Eh

No big deal.

A lot of our talent did go 2-14. I know most also went 12-4, but people only remember what you did last. Not what you did back in '08. If we have a good record this season, the tune of a lot of sports personalities will change.

Objectively ............ Bengals have by far the worst talent in the league. They lost their "franchise qb", they lost their #1 WR, they have a rookie qb that is even more of a project than our rookie qb, and a rookie wr that has to be the main attraction.

Cowherd isn't as bad as everyone makes him out to be.. I still listen to his show from time to time..

most thought the 2008 Falcons would be the worst team in the NFL.......

We are comnig off a bad year, w/ a rookie QB and HC......people aren't suppose to pay attention and most will assume we are doomed. That doesn't mean it is reality...
