Prisco take on Cam

Prisco takes a unique perspective on Cam in this article. It's almost like he wants to straddle the fence in case Cam is a bust and doesn't want to say he is a believer.

I think it also shows how Cam's doubters mind can be changed when they actually see him on the field and with his teammates.

Love Cams confidence and love of the game. I said this before in another thread, but it reminds of so much of an SI article about Mcnabbs love for the game. That when they slowed-moed breakaway 30 yard runs of Mcnabb he was actually smiling as he was running over linebackers and corners. Its an I'm the best and I love what I am doing attitude. Doesn't get any better then that. Adn before you hate on MacNabb and the comparison look at his resume, a few small hings here or there and he would be a SB champ.

Great point.

being able to make those beautiful frozen rope throws is great....but you don't have to make them every time you drop back to be successful.

The great ones know when to go for it...and when to take the little dinks and dunks that the defense gives you.

"Taking what the defense gives you" is NFL cliche but it is also NFL wisdom.

Its always fun when the defense "gives" you the bomb but, if they ain't, toss it out to D-Will or Olsen or Shockey and let them make a play.

Absolutely.

There is nothing wrong with check downs, swing passes, passes to the TE as a release valve......they are all weapons in an offense.

Mix them with the ability to hit it long down field, and you are ready to go.
