A red giant star that wandered too close to the centre of a galaxy 2.7 billion light years away was pulled in by the enormous gravity of the black hole - and shredded.

FYI this is what earth looked like back then and there wasn't much oxygen to speak of.

My spidey sense immediately started tingling when the image told me to Google something. I don't know what will happen if I Google "Blue Waffles," but somehow I am confident that I'm better off not knowing.
