Spotting a fake Panthers authentic jersey?

I am looking at these right now. Replica Jersey from NFL.com dont even have the letters sewn on do they?

Seems too good to be true for some reason. W/e, can't argue with 25 bucks.

Replica is the all-screened one.

Premier or "tackle twill" is the one I usually buy, that has sewn name and numbers.

Authentic is the best, with sewn name, numbers, and shoulder stripes.

its funny because most of the fake jerseys have all "sewn" on names, numbers, and panthers logo not the shoulder stripes.

The NFL authentics are a different color blue then the premier jersies. I have a smith Authentic and a williams premier and the color is slightly different between the two.

A lot of fake ones also have sewn on panthers logos on the sleeves, when not even the ones the players wear on the field have that.

I have a Keyshawn jersey that I got for Christmas a few years back because it went on super clearance markdown slashed price everything 19 must go sale. Now I want to get a TUTU nameplate. I think the plate costs more than I paid for the jersey, however.

What is with you people???

If you WANT an authentic jersey go to a real site NFL.com / Panther's store and PAY the money for a REAL ONE! If you want to spend less and try to swindle a deal then you get what you get. NEWS FLASH if you are trying to buy an "Authentic Jersey" for $40 bucks then it was either stolen/mislabeled/Scam or (wait for it)......FAKE!!!

I don't want to hear "I was trying to save money" IF you CANT get one b/c you don't have the $$$ guess what you just DON'T get one!! Go do like most people and buy a cheaper one.....no one truly cares you got one that was less money & not an authentic jersey.... If they do FUG THEM!!!

Yes, I totally agree.

If your "fan-ness" is determined by whether you wear a $300 authentic or a $100 replica then maybe you will say I am not as big a fan as I thought I am.

I am with CMII on this.

I have seen those jerseys from China and yes, the blue looks a bit off. Who the *** cares? At least they are doing what they can and still supporting my Panthers.

I have one Authentic Weinke and the rest are the replica type from the Panthers Shop. The Panthers own my heart but MamaSan owns my wallet.

And if anybody makes fun of me when I get to a home game because my jersey is not authentic, then we will just have to take it to the dirt.

I hate elitist types.....

100% Agree with ALL of that!!

I guess when I stroll into the Carolina / Arizona game with my (according to some "cheap jersey") I will be "less" of a fan. But the best part is I WILL BE THERE and I will have a blast.

See you there PanthaSan!!

I can see what you're saying totally but...bad advice for someone with a head on their shoulder's. I wouldn't have some of the finer possessions I have if I went out and just paid full blown retail price for them. Ironically, you won't find many millionaires who will pay fair price for anything. Of course on second thought the general public are complete idiots so this is probably good advice.

I got my nicest jersey worth 200$ for 40$ on craigslist from a Panther fan who had too many, and seriously he had like 5 of each player all authentic...and a garage dedicated to the panthers. I asked to drink a beer in that room, and we did and it was good.

And there is nothing wrong with wearing a 'man's jersey' and no it doesn't mean you're gay, neither does liking the color purple what are we in 3rd grade? Obviously you have a interior insecurity issue concerning your own self and homosexuality, proven by your question full of conspicuousness of others. Monsta said that easiest lol. I always wear my jersey to the stadium to support my team.

No one will make fun of you at the stadium we love ALL PANTHERS GEAR. It does NOT mean you're a bigger fan, all it means is you have one more way to show your support at the stadium, that's it! The more Jerseys I see at the game the better!!!

Anyone who gets a jersey with their own name on it is a dummy.

The end.

i agree. you look like a tool.

it really shouldnt matter if the jersey cost you 80 or 500 dollars, as long as you like it its ok. What are we all in high school and we have to prove that you arebetter than someone because you have a more official jersey?

I have 2 legit authentics, 2 tackle twills, 2 screen printed, 1 fake screen printed and 1 absolutely horrendous fake "authentic". Do people need a picture comparison?

I am not in the mood to pay the NFL $300 for an authentic jersey, but I have no problem with people that do.... their perrogative. I wanted a Cam jersey and wasn't sure about the #1 situation, so I got one off weiketrade for $25. Surely a $25 jersey looks like poo, right?? Wrong. I'd have to hold it up beside a true NFL authentic, but I'm pleased with it. I checked online after receiving it and the color schemes, stitching, and screened logo are all legit. If anyone wants to spend their time sweating my jersey up and down like a Jerseyologist, that too, is their business. There was definitely a risk that it would be an obvious hack job, but for $25, worst case, I'm out $25..... very solid risk/reward.
