Thought I'd add just a bit more to this discussion as I've received a tone of help from you guys. I got these from my buddy out of the trunk, and wanted to pass on some stuff for others. Notice in the first picture, the Beason jersey (that is a genuine premier jersey purchased from panthers.com) looks quite a bit darker than the Newton and Williams jerseys, that are both knockoffs that I borrowed from my buddy.

Then here in the second photo, notice that the NFL Equipment patch on the Beason jersey is very clear and crisp, and quite easy to read, whereas the one on the Newton is a bit less clear.

Basically, these might fly for a guy like me in Cali, but if you go to a Panthers guy and you are standing in line next to a guy wearing the genuine article, you are going to feel like a horses ass because the difference is quite obvious.

If you WANT an authentic jersey go to a real site NFL.com / Panther's store and PAY the money for a REAL ONE! If you want to spend less and try to swindle a deal then you get what you get. NEWS FLASH if you are trying to buy an "Authentic Jersey" for $40 bucks then it was either stolen/mislabeled/Scam or (wait for it)......FAKE!!!

I don't want to hear "I was trying to save money" IF you CANT get one b/c you don't have the $$$ guess what you just DON'T get one!! Go do like most people and buy a cheaper one.....no one truly cares you got one that was less money & not an authentic jersey.... If they do FUG THEM!!!

I've had pretty good luck on ebay finding legit authentic jerseys, you just have to know what to look for. Only been burned once and the jersey was so close to being legit that I would defy anyone to notice the difference.

You have to be realistic about what legit authentic jerseys you will find on ebay for a resonable price... you will not find a legit authentic Cam Newton jersey on ebay for $50 but you may find a Dan Morgan one because some of these guys buy close-out jerseys directly from the manufacturer for players that have long since retired or moved on to another team.

This issue confuses me as well. I have only 1 jersey, fugging Delhomme, that I got for xmas one year.

I am looking to get a Newton Jersey, but I am not going to spill 250.00 bucks to get one.

So, I can either buy replica from NFL.com, or a replica somewhere else for much cheaper.

Please, those with experience, what are the differences here:
