Rivera releases first Depth Chart

I guess Rivera will let Jimmy start...suck it up against the Giants defense...and then let Cam start against the much worse Dolphins defense.

Gotta check at gametime but I think the Giants secondary is a little injury struck at the moment. I want to say their starting 1 and 2 corners were out. Rivera said Cam will start when he and the team are ready. The offense they design for him will, I would think, be more complicated than the one for Jimmy to install.

Shouldnt be a surprise that Jimmy is starting, but it really could've went either way.

the ONLY shocking thing about the depth chart for me is the starting defensive end. Clausen over Newton, i thought it would start like that. Shockey over Olsen, not a shock, Shockey is the older veteren, but they will rotate in and out, but the shocker for me is Eric Norwood. he has must really impressed to earn the starting DE spot over Brown and Greg Hardy and honestly, i hope he plays great.

I think Hardy's still hurting some from the accident he had.

You guys always overreact to everything. On the TE's, who's to say that being listed the starter means anything? They're probably both getting rotated. Jimmy over Cam isn't a huge surprise either - he's been making the better decisions. I still expect Cam to be the starter eventually, but what's so shocking for the rookie to take a backseat? Calm down guys.
