Thought Luck would be the guy. Surprised when he dropped out. Who would want to have to worry about going to Buffalo or the Bengals?

Cam sounded exciting....but there was all this negative stuff. What I read about Rivera convinced me that he was doing his homework. Had to know he and Hurney were putting a lot of research in to the #1 decision. Decided to trust whatever they did. Had to know when they did not trade out of #1 that they were very sure about what they were doing. As time passes, I get more excited about Cam. I also believe Rivera is the real deal.

I wanted PP but I just accepted Cam after a while. It seemed inevitable. The only reason i didn't want him is that i didn't like that he was a huge upside guy with a lot of risk about his transition to the NFL. The concerns about his character were pretty silly.

Yes, I am a diehard Gamecocks fan, so yes, a few months this year I really did hate Cam after the bowl game…

In the first round I felt Cam was the only #1 pick, no one else..

Cam can bring chemistry and hope to this team..

If Cam is mature enough and works hard enough he will be the face of the NFL for years..

What the he makes as a QB will be a joke to what he makes elsewhere..
