Did You Actually Want Cam Drafted?

I've been lobbying for cam since Luck took his name out of the hat. I even predicted we would draft him before the combine(see earlier posts). Its funny how perception of Cam has changed from then til now. When i brought it up then everyone wrote it off as stupid and would never happen. not worthy...now everyone loves cam.

Was hoping that they would be able to trade down for more picks and get a DT first than Qb Kaepernick in the 2nd. As it turned out Kaepernick went sooner than I thought he would and so far Cam has been better than I ever dreamed he would be. So as it turned out I think we have gotten really lucky and I am on the Cam bandwagon.

go back a few years and admitting consideration for drafting a QB in the first round was considered blaspheme on here

God i hope not!!

So the panthers were dead last in passing and they draft a QB known more for his running ability??

Cam is only known more for running game to people who were "drinking the anti-Cam kool-aid".

He joined a team of practically unknown receiver talent (and still is... none of the Auburn WRs were drafted), and managed to throw with a 65.4% completion rate, 30 TDs, and only 7 picks (against SEC defenses I might add).

His passing game was actually a highlight of his run last year.
