I didn't want him drafted to the Panthers, then I looked as his background and realized that this kid was the perfect person for this organization.

I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. After realizing the irony behind Cam taking two different schools, who either never seen a championship or one in a very long time to their NC and now having a chance to doing the same for the Panthers in the NFL made me say "why not."

Plus, I did my research on his background and the kid seem like a genuinely good kid with a healthy sense of himself, who seem to have just been going through some growing pains while in UF.

Nope, all my friends said the Panthers are taking Cam Newton, and I denied it right down to the second it was announced by Goodell. Wanted Dareus or Peterson, but I'm a Defense guy.

Much more comfortable with the pick now than I was then, based on the things I've seen Cam do and say. He's the franchise now, like him or not, gotta support him.

      Bryce put it in a spot only his guy could get it only for David Moore to drop it. T_T Tremble and Horn both struggled yesterday and that killed me since they're two of my favourite players. Tommy knows he has to come down with this one. Folks were understandably saying that JT would've caught that had he not gotten hurt a few plays earlier. The more I look at this play, the more I think that Bryce made the right decision throwing it out the back of the endzone. He could have tried to laser it in to Thielen, but that safety is lurking awfully close inside. Insuring the field goal here after a 44sec drive to end the half was the right move.

      NFL Pro has the All-22 up already 😄 Going to grab a play or two from each redzone series to put screenshots to. Looks like AT angled his route off to the near pylon rather than the back corner where Bryce was throwing to. I imagine this is something they'll quickly try to figure out with Thielen back from IR. After watching the All-22 again, this was actually a pretty nifty play. I thought it was a TE screen to Tremble because of the way XL charged the DB, but he quickly shed and kept upfield as seen in the second screenshot. This looks like it had multiple layers built into it with AT running the crosser, XL the fade, Tremble to the flat. The progression would call for the play to go to Chuba here as the LB does follow Tremble out into the flat. Ball hits Chuba low and in the hands, but the LB does a good job disrupting the catch.
