I wanted Cam as the pick from the get-go. I watched Cam because of talk about his allegations. I never heard of him before that. Once I watched him play I thought to myself "this is what the fug we need". Then saw the South carolina game and never looked back. Then I heard all this Andrew Luck poo and said "meh, give me the dual threat instead of the architect". I've been screaming "fug Luck" from the beginning.

The Panthers have never had a QB with an arm like Cams. When you need to score quickly or when your behind this is the type of QB you need, a very good vertical passer, the great equalizer. Tired of the check down, dink and dunk QBs we've had. Go Cam!

That's how he caught my attention also.

Sad that our media has convince many that this kid isn't talented enough to succeed in the NFL as a QB simply because his image is more inline with the VY's and Ja Marcus's of the NFL and not the All American QBs of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady like Blaine Gabbert and Andrew Luck..SMDH...Oh well

In all fairness, JaMarcus Russell had a cannon for an arm in a vertical passing game.

While I regret my earlier comparisons between the two and Newton has taken great strides to make me a believer it's as silly as it is premature to think anyone knows what Newton or Luck are going to turn into on the field.
